3月25日，香港環(huán)球唱片與張國榮摯友陳淑芬攜手發(fā)布了一封致張國榮粉絲們的信。
Universal Music Hong Kong and Florence Chan, a longtime friend of the late Hong Kong singer and actor Leslie Cheung, have issued a statement denying any authorization for recent tribute concerts held in Cheung's name and warning of potential legal violations.
信中提到，售票平臺出現(xiàn)多場以“紀(jì)念張國榮”為名的演唱會及演出活動信息，不僅使用張國榮的肖像、視頻進(jìn)行宣傳，更大量播放其生前經(jīng)典曲目。
In a letter to fans on Wednesday, they said multiple events promoted as commemorations have appeared on ticketing platforms, using the late singer's image and video footage while extensively featuring his classic songs.
“我們對大家懷念‘哥哥’的行為和觀眾的心情都報以極大的尊重，始終心懷感念。但是需要公開聲明的是，我們截至目前并未對外做過任何類似授權(quán)。”
“未經(jīng)許可使用張國榮先生的肖像、姓名進(jìn)行商業(yè)宣傳，已涉嫌違法。演唱‘哥哥’的經(jīng)典曲目，使用相關(guān)演出視頻而未獲得版權(quán)方的合法授權(quán)，同樣構(gòu)成侵權(quán)。請停止所有非法行為。”
They expressed respect for public remembrance but stressed that no approvals have been granted. Unauthorized commercial use of his name or likeness may be illegal, and performing his works without proper licensing also constitutes infringement.
他們向歌迷呼吁，“請選擇合理合法的紀(jì)念‘哥哥’的活動和行為。”
Fans were urged to choose appropriate and lawful ways to honor his legacy.
