2026年2月27日，汕頭山姆會員店相關大型商業購物中心項目進入 華僑試驗區 現代產業項目申請認定階段，公示期至3月5日。該項目由市投控現代服務管理公司建設，選址東海岸新溪片區00202地塊，投資71429萬元，建面85762m，用地62.8畝，建設期限24個月，賣場約2萬m并配三層停車場。項目確定2026年10月31日開工，2027年10月31日山姆方進場，2028年5月15日交付，后續或將掛地出讓。來源：潮州樓市
