啟明星2024屆高中畢業(yè)生大學(xué)升學(xué)結(jié)果揭曉！

2024屆高中畢業(yè)生大學(xué)升學(xué)結(jié)果揭曉，孩子們用大學(xué)升學(xué)錄取通知書(shū)為自己在啟明星的多年成長(zhǎng)交出了高分答卷：

截至4月23日，12年級(jí)畢業(yè)生收到通知書(shū)：

來(lái)自世界各地，包括美國(guó)、加拿大、歐洲和英國(guó)的錄取通知書(shū)；

平均每名學(xué)生斬獲15份；

人均獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金927,407美元（約670余萬(wàn)元人民幣）。

申請(qǐng)美國(guó)大學(xué)的學(xué)生，85.7%收到全美排名前30高校的Offer，42.9%學(xué)生收到全美排名前20高校的Offer；

申請(qǐng)英國(guó)大學(xué)的學(xué)生，100%收到英國(guó)排名前10大學(xué)的Offer；

1/3的學(xué)生被排名前3的專業(yè)錄取；此外，兩位藝術(shù)生，一位被美國(guó)頂尖時(shí)尚學(xué)院紐約時(shí)裝學(xué)院錄取，一位收到全球最好的建筑學(xué)校之一、錄取率極低的英國(guó)建筑聯(lián)盟學(xué)院的錄取通知書(shū)。

絕大部分2024屆啟明星高中畢業(yè)生在小學(xué)階段即進(jìn)入啟明星學(xué)習(xí)，他們身上有著樂(lè)觀、堅(jiān)韌和追求卓越的明顯的啟明星印記。

1. 世界名校的錄取通知書(shū)是對(duì)學(xué)生出色表現(xiàn)的認(rèn)可

和去年相比，國(guó)際大學(xué)申請(qǐng)的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)進(jìn)一步加劇，啟明星依然取得了很好的成績(jī)，2024屆高中畢業(yè)生收到不少來(lái)自世界各地知名學(xué)府、頭部專業(yè)的Offer：

美國(guó)

在《美國(guó)新聞和世界報(bào)道》 (USNWR) 2024排名中位居全美前30、QS排名全美前20的加利福尼亞大學(xué)圣地亞哥分校、全美排名前30的加利福尼亞大學(xué)戴維斯分校、佛羅里達(dá)大學(xué)，全美排名前50的波士頓大學(xué)、里德學(xué)院、布蘭迪斯大學(xué)、羅格斯大學(xué)、加利福尼亞大學(xué)爾灣分校、圣芭芭拉分校、普渡大學(xué)。啟明星學(xué)生被普渡大學(xué)錄取的專業(yè)是天體物理學(xué)，該專業(yè)位居USNWR 2004專業(yè)排名全美第三。

英國(guó)

啟明星學(xué)生也被QS英國(guó)大學(xué)排名第三、全球排名第六的帝國(guó)理工學(xué)院錄取，錄取專業(yè)是生物工程，該專業(yè)在全英排名位居第一。另有啟明星學(xué)生被華威大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)專業(yè)錄取，該專業(yè)在全英排名位列第三。位于倫敦的英國(guó)建筑聯(lián)盟學(xué)院盡管不參加排名，卻是全球最好的建筑學(xué)院之一。

我們的學(xué)生也收到了以下高校的錄取通知書(shū): 英國(guó)排名第四的倫敦大學(xué)學(xué)院、排名第五的愛(ài)丁堡大學(xué)、排名第六的曼徹斯特大學(xué)和排名第七的倫敦國(guó)王學(xué)院。

加拿大

在《美國(guó)新聞和世界報(bào)道》 (USNWR) 2024排名中位居加拿大第一的多倫多大學(xué)、第八的滑鐵盧大學(xué)。

另外，我們的學(xué)生也收到了來(lái)自德國(guó)、瑞士、意大利、土耳其等國(guó)大學(xué)的錄取通知書(shū)。

2. 忠于內(nèi)心、挑戰(zhàn)自己

選擇專業(yè)方向時(shí)，我們的學(xué)生不但內(nèi)心堅(jiān)定，而且勇于挑戰(zhàn)自己，申請(qǐng)的都是大學(xué)里極具挑戰(zhàn)的專業(yè)方向，例如：經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)、生物工程、數(shù)學(xué)、時(shí)尚營(yíng)銷、建筑學(xué)和教育學(xué)。

我們相信，他們也會(huì)為畢業(yè)后的未來(lái)生活做好準(zhǔn)備，因?yàn)樗麄兗磳⑦M(jìn)入的大學(xué)項(xiàng)目都包含在學(xué)期間的實(shí)習(xí)項(xiàng)目或課后實(shí)習(xí)項(xiàng)目，對(duì)就業(yè)特別有利。

The announcement of the university admissions results of the 2024 Daystar High School graduates reflects their years of growth in our community.

By April 23rd, Grade 12 students had received:

Offers from colleges and universities in theUnited States, Canada, Europe and UK;

on average15 offersper student;

Scholarship per person:US$927,407(about RMB 6.7 million)；

Of students who applied to United States and Canada universities ,85.7%are admitted totop 30schools；42.9%are admitted totop 20schools.

100%of the students who applied to UK universities are admitted totop10universities in the UK.

1/3of the students are admitted totop 3majors nation wide. And of the 2 art students, one was admitted to thetop fashion school in the United States, Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), and the other to theArchitectural Association School of Architecture, one of the best architecture schools in the world with a very low acceptance rate.

Several members of the Class of 2024 have been enrolled in Daystar for almost their whole lives, and others arrived at Daystar while in elementary or middle school. They bear the hallmarks of optimism, humility and excellence.

1. Offers from Well-known Universities are Recognition of Students' Outstanding Performance

Compared with last year, the intense competition of international university applications has grown, yetDaystar's Class of 2024 received many offers from well-known universities around the world:

United States

The University of California, San Diego is among the top 30 in the U.S. News and World Report (USNWR) magazine rankings in 2024 and top 20 in QS world ranking 2024. The University of California, Davis, and University of Florida are among the top 30 in the USNWR 2024. Boston University, Reed College, Brandeis University, Rutgers University, University of California, Irvine, University of California, Santa Barbara, and Purdue University, are among the top 50 in the USNWR in 2024. As for the major astrophysics which Daystar student was admitted to Purdue University, the program is ranked No. 3 in the USNWR 2004.

United Kingdom

In the QS UK University rankings, Imperial College London is 3rd in the UK and 6th in the world.As for specific courses to which Daystar students were admitted, Imperial’s Bioengineering course is ranked Number 1 in the UKand the University of Warwick’s Maths Department is ranked Number 3 in the UK.The Architectural Association School of Architecture in London doesn’t participate in rankings, however it is considered one of the best architecture schools in the world.

Daystar students also received offers from: University College London (UCL), ranked 4th , University of Edinburgh, ranked 5th , University of Manchester, ranked 6th, and King's College London, ranked 7th.

Canada

The University of Toronto, ranked No. 1 in Canada, and the University of Waterloo, No. 8, by U.S. News and World Report (USNWR).

Our students also received offers from universities in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and Turkey.

2. Our Students are Determined in their Hearts

When choosing a major, our students are not only determined in their hearts, but alsohave the courage to challenge themselves, and pursue their passions, at university, studying such diverse and demanding majorsas: economics, bioengineering, mathematics, fashion merchandising, architecture and education.

They also will be well-prepared for life after university because many of their future programs include internships or co-ops, that are paid work experiences which often lead to employment after graduation.

The Class of 2024 is about to leave the school they have known and loved for such a long time. After years of solid study and hard work, they are about to enter the best, most excellent institutions of higher learning for their next chapters of their lives. We wish them well!
