Designed by DEEF DESIGN STUDIO, Monjasang Miyako’s House in Goyang is a 114-square-meter monjayaki restaurant that weaves Japanese food culture into a warm spatial narrative with a "house on the yard" concept. As the second branch of Monjasang, it abandons the first store’s dark masculine tone, adopting a bright ivory base with white wood and light textures to craft a neutral and luxurious ambiance. The space takes Japanese monjayaki culture as the core, blending the warmth of a private residence with the casualness of an outdoor yard, letting diners experience the deep charm of Japanese food culture in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
由 DEEF DESIGN STUDIO 打造的韓國高陽市 Monjasang Miyako’s House,是一座以 “院中屋” 為核心理念,將日式美食文化編織進溫暖空間敘事的 114 平方米文字燒餐廳。作為 Monjasang 品牌的二店,它摒棄首店深沉的男性化基調,以柔潤的象牙白為基底,搭配白木與淺質肌理,營造出中性且輕奢的空間氛圍。空間以日式文字燒文化為核心,融合私宅的溫馨與戶外庭院的隨性,讓食客在松弛愉悅的氛圍中體驗日式飲食文化的深層韻味。

The design fully leverages the site’s three open sides and curved layout, breaking the single expression of a pure indoor residence and creating the unique "A Small House on the Yard" concept. The kitchen area’s partial wall is designed as a house wall to outline the sense of a private residence, while the rest of the space is kept open to blur the boundary between indoor and outdoor. The ceiling is left exposed to enhance the outdoor yard feeling, and ropes are used at the corridor boundary to make a fence-like design. Diners sitting in the space feel as if they are in a cozy Japanese yard, enjoying delicious food in a natural and unrestrained environment.
設計充分借力場地三面臨空與弧形布局的特質,打破純室內居所的單一表達,打造出獨有的 “院中屋” 空間概念。廚房區(qū)域的局部墻面被設計為住宅式墻體,勾勒出私宅的空間歸屬感,其余區(qū)域則保持開放式布局,模糊室內外的邊界感。頂面做裸頂處理強化戶外庭院的氛圍感,與走廊的交界處以繩索打造圍欄式設計,讓落座的食客仿若置身溫馨的日式庭院,在自然隨性的環(huán)境中享用美味。

Different from the first branch’s dark and heavy color palette, this space takes soft ivory as the background tone, with white wood and light textured materials as the visual focus, shaping a bright, neutral and luxurious overall ambiance. The light color system softens the spatial lines, eliminating the sense of restraint of a traditional restaurant and bringing a warm and comfortable residential experience to diners. The selection of materials abandons complicated decorations, focusing on the original texture of the materials, and the gentle touch of wood and the smoothness of ivory surfaces complement each other, making the space elegant without being cold, warm without being trivial.
與首店深沉厚重的配色不同,該空間以柔潤的象牙白為背景主調,將白木與淺肌理材質作為視覺焦點,塑造出明亮、中性且輕奢的整體氛圍。淺色系柔化了空間線條,消解了傳統餐廳的拘束感,為食客帶來溫馨舒適的居家體驗。材質選擇摒棄繁復裝飾,注重材質本身的原生肌理,木材的溫潤觸感與象牙白質感的細膩順滑相互映襯,讓空間雅致而不冰冷,溫暖而不瑣碎。

The design embeds Japanese traditional culture into every detail of the space, creating a strong cultural atmosphere while adding interesting interactive experiences. At the base of the entrance’s large square column, stone is used to create a traditional Japanese architectural image, and the upper shelf integrates the brand’s signature "Omikuji" fortune-drawing event. The fa?ade is fitted with ropes for hanging fortune papers, which not only adds a functional interactive area but also leaves room for the space to grow—countless fortune papers tied by diners will gradually form a unique cultural landscape of the store.
設計將日本傳統文化融入空間的每一處細節(jié),在營造濃厚文化氛圍的同時,增添了趣味的互動體驗。入口大方形立柱底部采用石材打造日式傳統建筑的質感,上部置物架則融入品牌標志性的 “御神簽” 抽簽活動,外立面裝設可懸掛簽紙的繩索,既增設了功能性的互動區(qū)域,也為空間留下生長的余地,食客系掛的無數簽紙將逐漸形成店鋪獨有的文化景觀。

The entrance is the first window of the space’s cultural expression, with the square column as the visual core, combining traditional texture and modern functionality. The stone base inherits the sense of ritual of Japanese traditional architecture, giving the space a stable and profound cultural foundation, while the upper Omikuji shelf and fa?ade rope design inject modern interactive fun into the traditional culture. This design makes the entrance not only a traffic node but also a cultural interactive point, letting diners touch Japanese traditional culture the moment they enter the store, and laying a relaxed and interesting emotional tone for the whole dining experience.
入口是空間文化表達的第一窗口,以方形立柱為視覺核心,融合傳統質感與現代功能性。石材基座承襲日式傳統建筑的儀式感,賦予空間沉穩(wěn)深厚的文化底蘊,上部的御神簽置物架與外立面繩索設計則為傳統文化注入現代互動趣味。這份設計讓入口不再只是交通節(jié)點,更成為文化互動觸點,讓食客踏入門店的瞬間便觸摸到日式傳統文化,為整個用餐體驗奠定松弛有趣的情感基調。

The spatial layout is carefully planned to balance the practical needs of catering operation and the immersive experience of Japanese culture. The kitchen area with a house wall design ensures the functional privacy of food production, and the open dining area creates a relaxed yard-like dining atmosphere. The curved layout of the site is fully utilized to make the traffic flow smooth, and the rope fence at the corridor not only defines the spatial boundary but also does not block the visual connection. Every functional design is centered on diners’ experience, letting people enjoy the delicious monjayaki while deeply feeling the unique charm of Japanese food and residential culture.
空間布局經精心規(guī)劃,平衡了餐飲運營的實用需求與日式文化的沉浸式體驗。帶住宅墻體設計的廚房區(qū)域保障了菜品制作的功能私密性,開放式的用餐區(qū)則營造出松弛的庭院式用餐氛圍。充分利用場地的弧形布局讓交通動線流暢無阻,走廊處的繩索圍欄既界定了空間邊界,又不阻隔視覺連通。每一處功能設計都以食客體驗為核心,讓人們在享用文字燒美味的同時,深度感受日式飲食與居住文化的獨特魅力。

Monjasang Miyako’s House, as the second branch of the brand, completes the upgrade of the brand’s spatial narrative with a new character and spatial concept. It takes "Miyako’s second home" as the emotional core, different from the first store’s "housewarming party" concept, creating a more relaxed and casual social space for diners. The space is no longer just a place for eating, but a carrier for spreading Japanese monjayaki culture, letting Korean diners indirectly experience the deep flavor of Japanese food culture in a warm and pleasant residential-style space, and writing a new chapter for the brand’s cultural communication.
Monjasang Miyako’s House 作為品牌二店,以全新的人物設定與空間概念完成了品牌空間敘事的升級。它以 “宮子的第二居所” 為情感核心,區(qū)別于首店 “喬遷宴” 的概念,為食客打造出更松弛隨性的社交空間。這里不再只是用餐的場所,更是傳播日式文字燒文化的載體,讓韓國食客在溫馨愜意的居家式空間中,間接體驗日式飲食文化的深厚底蘊,為品牌的文化傳播寫下全新篇章。
