snow是雪，job是工作，snow job是什么意思？

有的同學看到 “snow job”第一反應是，這個簡單，就是鏟雪的嘛！不是？那是堆雪人的工作？其實都不是啦！

n.花言巧語的奉承

(informal) attempt to trick sb or to persuade them to support sth by telling them things that are not true, or by praising them too much

在她面前，約翰把他從事的工作吹得天花亂墜。

這個表達源于二戰時期，是諺語"snowed under"（被雪埋著，表示隱藏或者受到重壓）的化用，兩個短語都跟下大雪有關，萬物都被覆蓋，從視野中消失。

snow還可以直接作動詞，表示哄騙。
