道出了2025屆畢業(yè)生的成功——

這是一群低調(diào)的孩子，

他們忠于自己的內(nèi)心；

經(jīng)歷千萬次打磨之后，

最終收獲了堅(jiān)硬耐磨的鎧甲。

他們的大學(xué)升學(xué)成績特別亮眼，

也為投身斑斕莫測的世界鼓足了勇氣。

如果說，不經(jīng)歷風(fēng)雨怎么見彩虹，

那么，5月29日畢業(yè)典禮上，

經(jīng)歷了風(fēng)雨磨礪的他們，

這一刻正與彩虹對(duì)視！

2025屆畢業(yè)生游行開始。他們從高中樓出發(fā)，穿過校園前往D+劇院，沿路收獲滿滿的祝福。

學(xué)生們到達(dá)典禮現(xiàn)場，這里已坐滿了他們的家人、朋友、前來觀禮的師生，還有啟明星往屆的畢業(yè)生。

中學(xué)校長Jonah Olken-Dann率先向畢業(yè)生致辭：

“看著在座的你們，我心中涌起對(duì)你們成就的無比的自豪——不僅是為整個(gè)班級(jí)的成就，更為你們每個(gè)人的成長。

這份自豪不只在結(jié)果，更因?yàn)橹滥銈冏哌^的路并不輕松。你們曾面對(duì)障礙、挫折與自我懷疑。有過掙扎，也從中學(xué)習(xí)，時(shí)而全心投入，時(shí)而想要逃離，最終又重拾信念。有時(shí)覺得你們進(jìn)一步又退一步，一直原地，但你們從未放棄……

請記住此刻，記住那份助你們走到今日的堅(jiān)毅、決心與韌性，記住你們已創(chuàng)下的輝煌，更要相信，你們所能成就的，遠(yuǎn)不止于此！”

多次入選福布斯中國《商界女性百強(qiáng)榜》、現(xiàn)任麥當(dāng)勞中國首席執(zhí)行官張家茵作為嘉賓也來到現(xiàn)場。

她非常認(rèn)同啟明星的社會(huì)創(chuàng)新教育理念，分享了自己的成長經(jīng)歷，也向畢業(yè)生提出了基于個(gè)人經(jīng)驗(yàn)的寶貴建議：

?讓我們對(duì)每日飲食常懷感恩之心。當(dāng)生活陷入困境或遭遇挫折時(shí)，感恩之心會(huì)是一劑良方。它不會(huì)讓你氣餒，反而讓你能重新審視自己的處境，使你找回初心，從零開始。

?讓我們與親人和朋友保持聯(lián)系。家人是你穩(wěn)固的錨，在生活的風(fēng)暴中將你牢牢系住；摯友則永遠(yuǎn)直言不諱，既不阿諛也不誤導(dǎo)。他們與你并肩同行人生路，不為消磨時(shí)光，只為守護(hù)，確保你安好。

?保持簡單和純粹是我創(chuàng)造積極和歡樂氛圍的訣竅。在這個(gè)日益變得不可預(yù)測、不確定和模糊的世界中，能將復(fù)雜的問題拆解為可執(zhí)行的任務(wù)變得至關(guān)重要；關(guān)于“保持純粹”這個(gè)原則，真正智慧的人深知天外有天，因而寧 愿自視愚鈍——這種心態(tài)使得他們能獲得持續(xù)的好奇心與包容異見的胸襟。

去年，胡敬恩作為學(xué)生代表，向2024屆學(xué)長致辭，今年的畢業(yè)典禮上，她作為2025屆畢業(yè)生代表又一次站在演講臺(tái)上。她說：

“......我們的啟明星時(shí)光由無數(shù)篇章組成，而最后兩年尤其難忘。過去兩年里，我們經(jīng)歷了很多：臨時(shí)抱佛腳的通宵復(fù)習(xí)、‘創(chuàng)傷性’的考試周，以及充滿焦慮的大學(xué)申請季。不經(jīng)歷風(fēng)雨，怎么見彩虹？盡管這些挑戰(zhàn)當(dāng)時(shí)看似不可逾越，如今，我們正與彩虹對(duì)視。

未來4年，我們將散落世界各地：有未來的海洋生物學(xué)Delphina、建筑師Harry、工程師Dora、物理學(xué)家Lydia、游戲設(shè)計(jì)師Nemo、運(yùn)動(dòng)健將Bovi、藝術(shù)治療師Cecelia、漫畫作家Fanny、設(shè)計(jì)師Mia、職業(yè)藝術(shù)家Lynn、數(shù)學(xué)家Austin，以及未來的醫(yī)生Otu。

當(dāng)然，我們會(huì)面臨新的挑戰(zhàn)：適應(yīng)大學(xué)生活、離開家人獨(dú)立、建立新的人際關(guān)系。但我堅(jiān)信，無論困難多大，我們終將茁壯成長。正如斯蒂芬·庫里所說：‘我還能變得更好，遠(yuǎn)未觸及天花板。’我期待見證所有人自我挑戰(zhàn)，向自己的天花板努力。

家長、老師和校友們錄制的祝福視頻，讓孩子們陷入回憶。11年級(jí)學(xué)生張安秋代表在校學(xué)生向?qū)W長學(xué)姐直接送上祝福：

“當(dāng)我問班上的同學(xué)，你們會(huì)怎么形容12年級(jí)的學(xué)長學(xué)姐們，他們說：‘低調(diào)，深藏不露，各有所長，有內(nèi)涵，團(tuán)結(jié)，有愛，親切。’你們是一個(gè)最團(tuán)結(jié)、最暖心的年級(jí)，同學(xué)之間的感情尤其好 ......

記住王爾德的話：‘做你自己，因?yàn)閯e人都有人做了。’你們獨(dú)一無二，擁有自己的夢想、興趣和價(jià)值觀。追隨內(nèi)心，熱愛所愛，成為你想成為的人。每個(gè)人都有閃耀世界的力量。

“在為這次演講做準(zhǔn)備時(shí)，我始終難以找到最貼切的詞來形容你們這一屆學(xué)生。我本可以說你們是收到名校錄取最多的一屆——但這從來不是定義你們的方式。

我也可以稱你們?yōu)樽頲hill（從容）的一屆——相信你們會(huì)贊同這個(gè)評(píng)價(jià)——但這遠(yuǎn)不足以概括你們的精彩……

This Will Durant quote from The Story of Philosophy best summarizes the success of the Class of 2025—

This is a group of easygoing, humble students, who have stayed true to themselves, and created a class culture based in tolerance and acceptance.

Through countless challenges and milestones, they have emerged with polished armor that is both resilient and robust.

Their college admissions results are outstanding, and they are ready to face a world full of dazzling unpredictability.

As the saying goes, “You can’t have a rainbow without a little rain.”

On May 29, at their graduation ceremony,they now stand together, gazing at the rainbow!

The graduation parade begins. Students depart from the high school building and proceed through the campus toward the D+ Theater, receiving congratulations from everyone along the way.

The students arrive at the graduation venue, already filled with their families, friends, teachers, and fellow students, also joined by alumni from previous Daystar Academy graduating classes.

Secondary School Principal, Jonah Olken-Dann, addresses the graduates:

“When I look at all of you sitting here today, I feel an overwhelming sense of pride in everything you have accomplished, both as a class, and each of you individually.

That pride doesn’t just come from your accomplishments—it comes from knowing that your journey has not always been easy. You’ve faced obstacles, setbacks, and moments of doubt. You struggled, you learned, you embraced the work, you pushed it away, and then returned to it. Sometimes it felt like one step forward and one step back. But you never gave up.

Remember the grit, determination, and resilience that brought you here today. Remember that you’ve already accomplished so much—and that you are capable of so much more.”

Phyllis Cheung, CEO of McDonald’s China and a multiple-time honoree on Forbes China’s “Top 100 Businesswomen” list, also attended the ceremony as a guest speaker.

She expressed strong appreciation for Daystar Academy’s commitment to social innovation education, shared her personal growth experiences, and offered the following advice:

?Let’s be thankful for our daily FOOD.When life feels challenging or you face setbacks, GRATITUDE can be a powerful tool. Instead of feeling discouraged, gratitude gives you a fresh perspective about your situation. It brings you back to where you begin which is the ground zero.

? Let’s stay connected with your FOLKS: Your Family and Friends.Family is like a steady anchor that keeps you grounded when life’s storm comes your way. Great friends will always tell you the truth without flattering or misleading you. They walk beside you along life’s road not just to pass time but because they want to make sure you are okay even when you don’t realize it.

?Let’s be Fun. KEEP IT SIMPLE and STUPID is my key to fostering a positive and enjoyable environment.In an increasingly unpredictable, uncertain, and ambiguous world, it is essential to break down complex problems into manageable tasks. Regarding the principle of "Keep it stupid," truly intelligent individuals recognize the existence of others who possess greater knowledge. Consequently, they prefer to view themselves as less smart, which fosters a continual curiosity for new ideas and an openness to differing opinions.

Last year, Kelly Hu gave a farewell speech to the Class of 2024 as a student representative. This year, she stood at the podium once more, yet this time, she spoke on behalf of the graduating Class of 2025. Kelly shared:

“Our time at Daystar has been composed of various chapters, with our last two years, the most memorable of all. Throughout the last two years, we’ve learned and experienced so much. All the last-minute all-nighters, the traumatic exam weeks, and most of all, the college application cycle filled with anxiety.但是我們不經(jīng)歷風(fēng)雨，怎么見彩虹？ Although these milestones felt insurmountable in the moment, we made it, and now, 我們在和彩虹對(duì)視。

In the next four years, every one of us will be headed somewhere different, to places all over the world. Delphina, the future marine biologist. Harry, the future architect. Dora, the future engineer. Lydia, the future physicist. Nemo, the future game designer. Bovi, the future sports man. Cecelia, the future art therapist. Fanny, the future comics author. Mia, the future designer. Lynn, the future professional artist. Austin, the future mathematician. Otu, the future doctor.

Of course, we’ll be confronted by new obstacles: adjusting to university life, living without our family, forming new connections. But I’m certain, we’ll thrive no matter how colossal the challenges may seem.Just like Steph Curry said, “I can get better. I haven’t reached my ceiling yet”, I look forward to seeing us all reach our own ceilings in the future.

In conclusion, thank you to the people who got us here, and thank you Daystar for making these years unforgettable.

Today, we scatter like a phoenix’s ashes—so tomorrow we can rise in a thousand different skies.

Congratulations, Class of 2025—our story’s just beginning.”

A heartfelt video with well wishes from parents, teachers, and alumni brought graduates back to memory. Eleventh grade student Angela Zhang delivered a tribute on behalf of all underclassmen:

“When I asked my classmates, what words would you use to describe the twelfth graders, they said: low-key, humble yet extraordinary, uniquely talented, profoundly thoughtful, tightly-knit, genuinely caring, and always approachable.” You are a particularly united and friendly grade, with unwavering friendship for each other.

Remember the words of Oscar Wilde,“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”You are unique, and you have your own dreams, interests, and values. Follow your heart, do what you love, and become the person you want to be. Each of you has the potential to shine brightly and make your own mark in the world.

Once again, I wish all the graduates a bright future. May you always be true to yourself and live a life that makes you proud. Hakuna Matata.”

Graduates took the stage one by one to receive their diplomas. Daystar Academy Executive Board Member Jack Hsu also shared his heartfelt words:

“As I was preparing for this speech, I found it difficult to find just the right words to describe your class. I could have said that you are the best performing graduating class in terms of college admissions — but that has never been how you define yourselves. I could also call you the most chill and composed class — and I believe you’d agree with that — but even that doesn’t begin to capture the full extent of your brilliance.

I could say you’re the most chill and composed group—surely many of you would agree—but even that doesn’t do justice to how extraordinary you are…

Most remarkably, you’ve done it all with the understated humility that is truly the Daystar way. Bravo.

So as you move forward, remember:

Be kind, even in the smallest ways.

Be curious, and say yes to new experiences.

Follow what you love, not just what seems practical.

Only by loving what you do can you truly stand out.”
