4月14日下午，本溪市動植物園發布情況說明：非洲獅“大毛”今年14歲，2025年8月6日，其配偶“盼盼”衰老死亡后，“大毛”精神壓抑萎靡，食量減少。2025年12月，“大毛”40多天幾乎不進食。日前，“大毛”每日進食牛肉、雞肉達5公斤左右，進入恢復階段。2026年4月引入新伴侶雌獅"豆豆"，嘗試重建情感聯結。（紅星新聞）
