中國政府中東問題特使翟雋今天（23日）下午在北京召開專題吹風會，介紹近期中東局勢。
翟雋表示，這次戰爭的規模、力度和持續時長都已經超過了去年。中東已經夠亂了，地區國家和人民當前最期盼的是和平和安寧。有關的當事方應立即停止軍事行動，防止緊張事態進一步升級，避免局勢發展到不可收拾的地步。
