3月14日，商丘市城市管理局發布公告，根據氣象部門最新預報，3月15日至17日商丘市將迎來一次冷空氣過程。為切實保障群眾用暖需求，中心城區集中供暖期延長三天，至3月18日零時結束。
公告明確，延長供暖期間，不再向居民熱用戶額外收取采暖費用，以民生溫度回應天氣變化，讓市民溫暖平穩度過降溫天氣。
