“瘋狂動物城”空降寧諾：期末壓力大？動物來救場！

垂耳兔在草坪上歡快地蹦跶，設特蘭矮馬好奇地打量著圍觀人群，豚鼠悠閑地嚼著青草，羊駝為了撓癢索性直接躺倒，將肚皮貼在地上反復摩擦。這不是近期院線熱映的《瘋狂動物城2》，而是在寧波諾丁漢大學校園內上演的治愈時刻。

本周，寧波諾丁漢大學推出第12屆減壓周，通過近60場涵蓋萌寵、體育、手工、美食等主題的活動，為期末季忙于準備考試和論文答辯的學生釋放壓力、舒緩心情。

“馬市長”出逃：

瘋狂動物城上演寧諾番外篇

自2018年第一批動物亮相減壓周，“迷你動物園”便成為了最具人氣的活動之一。冬日暖陽里，學生們簇擁而來，有的舉著手機和羊駝自拍，有的俯下身子將一只兔子抱入懷里，還有的坐在卡皮巴拉身旁一邊投喂一邊撫摸，仿佛在和這位“情緒穩定大師”共享片刻寧靜。

此外，今年的活動還首次引入水母、海星、小丑魚、寄居蟹等海洋生物，它們用搖曳生姿與斑斕色彩為學生帶來大海的療愈。

日落時分，一個意想不到的“片尾彩蛋”將本場活動推向了高潮。或許還留戀美麗的校園，又或是被學生們的熱情感染，一匹設特蘭矮馬竟偷偷溜出圍欄，揚起蹄子在教學樓前的步道上歡快地奔跑起來。

“馬年快到了，瘋狂動物城里的馬市長也跑啦！”一名恰好路過的學生打趣道。

隨著聞訊而來的人群記錄下現場畫面，“馬市長出逃”瞬間走紅各個社交媒體平臺。視頻中，矮馬在前方噠噠作響地小跑，一名身穿“奶牛”道具服的學生在后頭追趕，清脆的馬蹄聲與此起彼伏的驚嘆和歡笑交織在一起，描繪出一幅趣味十足卻又充滿活力的動態圖景。

動靜皆宜：

多維度為身心“充能”

“用力打出直拳！”

在減壓周拳擊活動現場，學員們在教練的指導下果斷揮拳，把期末的焦慮徹底擊碎。與此同時，另一邊的舞蹈室里旋律正酣，躍動的身影享受著尊巴帶來的酣暢與釋放，讓壓力伴著每個節拍揮灑殆盡。此外，學校還在減壓周期間開設了攀巖、射箭、騎行等體育項目，為學生提供多種釋壓渠道。

除了在運動場上揮汗如雨，

不少學生選擇加入藝術創作工坊

在手作中尋回專注、點亮創意。他們有的在鵝卵石上作畫，用色彩喚醒沉睡的紋理；有的以針引線，在來回穿梭間織出一條柔軟的牛奶棉圍巾；還有的在涂鴉區自由創作，用俏皮的圖案和溫暖的留言為彼此加油打氣。

舌尖上的愉悅

是打開快樂閥門最有效的方法之一

在減壓市集上，琳瑯滿目的美食攤位化身能量補給站：熱氣騰騰的鹵肉飯、香氣四溢的蠔蛋燒、晶瑩甜脆的糖葫蘆、溫潤清甜的燉梨湯……各式美味既滿足了挑剔的味蕾，也松開了緊繃的神經。捧一杯現場沖泡的熱茶，與好友分享一份炸雞拼盤——這充滿煙火氣的社交場景，本身就成了驅散焦慮的良方。

廢布華麗轉身：

從墻上到肩上的新生之旅

一場校園活動落幕后，配套的巨幅廣告布只能當作廢品被丟棄？

在今年的減壓周上，由寧諾環境可持續發展委員會與體育部聯手推出的“布語·新生計劃”給出了不一樣的答案——項目組收集了百余份學校過往的活動廣告布，清潔消毒后，根據其色彩、紋理與質地制作了托特包、斜挎包、電腦包、騎行包等多款不同尺寸、不同功能的背包，并通過義賣活動將其從“廢棄舊物”轉變為“時尚單品”，讓可持續發展從理念變為看得見、摸得到、用得上的實物。

“通過創新，我們不僅減少了浪費，更能以一種獨特的方式持續講述著寧諾故事。”項目組成員、體育部副主任Prathiv Kholia說。

為了讓更多人能參與其中，項目組還將收集的廣告布預裁剪成可供創作的形狀。在減壓周的活動現場，體驗者只需完成幾個簡單的手工步驟，便能將承載著校園記憶的陳舊物料親手改造為獨一無二的DIY掛飾。

從萌寵互動到指尖藝術，從廢布新生到市集煙火。在寧諾，人文關懷在撫平焦慮的溫暖掌心里，也在賦予舊物新生的創意中。這一點一滴的巧思和行動，共同匯聚成寧諾校園獨特而充滿溫度的文化脈搏。

'Zootopia' lands at UNNC: Animal therapy for exam stress

Shetland ponies, rabbits, capybaras, llamas and more – this is not a scene from Zootopia 2, but a heart-warming mini zoo at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC).

This week, the UNNC Health and Wellbeing Centre, in collaboration with multiple departments, launched the 12th Wellbeing Week. Featuring nearly 60 events – ranging from animal interactions and sports to handicrafts and food – the initiative aims to help students unwind and de-stress during the intense final exam and dissertation period.

'Mayor' on the run: A UNNC spin-off of Zootopia

Since 2018, the Mini Zoo has been one of the most popular activities of Wellbeing Week. Students gather around: some take selfies with llamas, others gently cradle rabbits, while many sit beside capybaras, feeding and petting these "emotional support experts".

This year, the event introduced marine life for the first time, including jellyfish, starfish and clownfish. Their graceful movements and vibrant colours offered a soothing dose of oceanic therapy.

As the day drew to a close, an unexpected "post-credits scene" stole the show. Whether reluctant to leave the enclosure or energised by the students' enthusiasm, a Shetland pony slipped out and began trotting happily around campus.

As more people rushed to capture the moment, the "Great Escape of Mayor Brian Winddancer from Zootopia 2" quickly went viral on social media.

Balancing act: recharging body and mind

At the Wellbeing Week boxing session, students followed the coach's commands, striking as if shattering their anxieties. Meanwhile, in another studio, energetic beats fuelled a Zumba class, with participants dancing away stress to every rhythm.

Other sports, including climbing, archery and cycling, also offered diverse outlets for students to let off steam.

For those seeking a quieter form of relaxation, various arts and crafts workshops proved popular. Some participants painted intricate designs on smooth pebbles, others knitted soft milk-cotton scarves, while many left encouraging messages and doodles on a communal graffiti board, sharing warmth and motivation.

Satisfying the stomach is another proven route to joy. At the Wellbeing Market, crowds queued for a wide variety of food and drink. Sharing a pot of freshly brewed tea or a platter of fried chicken with friends in this lively, social atmosphere was itself a perfect recipe for melting away stress.

Canvas reborn: a new life for the event banner

What happens to the large advertising banners once a campus event is over? Typically, they are discarded. This Wellbeing Week, the "Canvas Reborn - reUNNC" initiative, launched by the UNNC Environmental Sustainability Committee and the Sport Department, offered a different answer.

The project team collected over a hundred used event banners. After cleaning, the materials—with their unique colours, textures and patterns—were transformed into functional items such as tote bags, cross-body bags, laptop sleeves and cycling bags. Sold at a charity sale, these "fashion statements" turned waste into tangible examples of sustainable living.

"Canvas Reborn shows how sustainability can be practical, creative and part of everyday university life," said Prathiv Kholia, Deputy Director of Sport and PE at UNNC. "By reimagining materials that would normally be discarded, we’re not only reducing waste but repurposing it, while also telling the story of our campus in a different way."

To further involve the community, the project also hosted workshops where participants could turn pre-cut pieces of banner fabric into unique DIY accessories, fostering a personal connection to sustainability.

From animal therapy to sustainable innovation, campus life at UNNC is expressed through both gentle comfort and proactive creativity. Together, these thoughtful initiatives form a unique, warm and vibrant pulse of UNNC.
