聯合國婦女署中國辦公室現招募一名Policy Specialist，推動制定和實施促進性別平等的政策與治理。

崗位名稱：Policy Specialist（NPSA-10）

工作地點：中國北京

初始合同期限：1年

Functional Competencies:

• Excellent knowledge of Gender equality and international standards

• Strong knowledge of China, particularly national development plan, and gender policies/programmes is required

• Ability to advocate and provide policy advice on gender equality and development agenda is required

• Ability to perform qualitative and quantitative policy research and gender analysis skills required

• Proven track record in developing partnership with government in gender equality and women’s empowerment is required

• Ability to interact with donors, identify and analyze trends, opportunities and threats to fundraising

• Ability to write policy papers, speeches, briefings.

• Strong knowledge of programme development, implementation, results-based management and reporting

• Excellent networking skills

技能和經驗：

Education and Certification：

• Master’s degree in public policy, development planning, Gender Studies and Social Sciences or related field

• A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experiencemay be acceptedin lieu of the advanced university degree.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of professional work experience at the national and/or international level in programme, management, advisory services or related field preferably in social policy and good governance

• Experience in policy or programming in gender equality and women's empowerment is required

• Prior experience in advocating and providing technical support for national policy and planning, especially in context of government partnership, is desirable

• Demonstrated experience engaging diverse stakeholders, including governments, civil society and international development is required.

• Experience working with the UN is an asset

• Excellent oral and written skills; excellent drafting, formulation, reporting skills.

Language Requirements:

• Fluency in English and Chinese is required.

• Working knowledge of the other UN official working language is an asset.
