揚(yáng)基GM放話：55次打擊后召回Volpe，212轟老將成犧牲品

揚(yáng)基游擊手Anthony Volpe的復(fù)出倒計(jì)時(shí)已經(jīng)啟動(dòng)。球隊(duì)總經(jīng)理Brian Cashman確認(rèn)，這位24歲球員將在周二開(kāi)啟小聯(lián)盟康復(fù)賽，預(yù)計(jì)完成55次打擊后重返大聯(lián)盟陣容。

Volpe的回歸意味著有人必須離開(kāi)。Sports Illustrated的Jovan Alford把矛頭指向了外野手Randal Grichuk——這位生涯轟出212發(fā)全壘打的老將，加盟揚(yáng)基后前12次打擊顆粒無(wú)收。

「Granted, it's still early in the season, so there's a chance that Grichuk could find the fountain of youth and get on track,」Alford寫(xiě)道，「But the fact that he's not hitting anything off lefties, which is his strong suit, is not a good sign.」

諷刺的是，Grichuk正是以打擊左投見(jiàn)長(zhǎng)（生涯對(duì)左投OPS .815），揚(yáng)基簽他也是看中這點(diǎn)。但開(kāi)季至今他連老本行都丟了，而 Triple-A 的Jasson Domínguez正打出.341打擊率外加7次盜壘——球迷已經(jīng)在問(wèn)：為什么留著Grichuk而不是他？

Cashman的算盤(pán)很現(xiàn)實(shí)：Ryan McMahon和Jose Caballero動(dòng)不了，J.C. Escarra和Ben Rice的替代方案更不可能。34歲的Grichuk拿著小聯(lián)盟合約來(lái)投石問(wèn)路，現(xiàn)在石頭沉了，路也沒(méi)了。
