China advanced to the semifinals of the AFC Women's Asian Cup after beating Chinese Taipei 2-0 in their quarterfinal clash on Saturday. The defending champion China will face host Australia in their semifinal match on Tuesday. The win also helped China book a place at the 2027 Women's World Cup in Brazil.
