Light runs naked

The Form of Light: Holding Poetry as a Torch to Illuminate Existence
When I pen these verses about light, I have always believed that light is never merely a medium illuminating the world—it is the bone of life, the grain of the soul, and the truest echo humanity leaves in the universe. *The Form of Light* is not a deliberate creation, but a flow of consciousness. From the first glimmer of dawn to the last prayer of the night, from the primal power of nature to the cold glow of cities, from the tenderness of love to the ashes of humanity's end, I take poetry as a boat, carrying the inquiry into existence, and sail through every wilderness of the mind.
I often wonder, as human beings, how on earth we can touch the essence of the world? Is it to hear the fetal movement of life in the bones of dawn, to see the shape of time in the entanglement of light and dust, to find resonance with nature in the echo of mountains, or to face the alienation of modernity in the empty city? The answer may lie in every gaze, every silence, and all our perceptions of love, dreams, memories, and death. The form of light has never been a single appearance. It can be an unnamed flower in the morning mist, a neon shadow in the city, the warmth in a lover's eyes, the tremor of stars in the night, and even a wisp of human ashes floating over the ruins at the end of civilization.

These poems are my conversations with the world, and also a dissection of the self. From *The Bones of Dawn* to *The Form of Light*, and to *Ashes of Humanity* as the hidden epilogue, the eleven series with three hundred and twenty poems outline the complete trajectory of the human soul: from creation to dissipation, from faith to self-reflection, from the birth of light to its return. I have tried to break the yoke of language, to endow words with the warmth of breath, and to make poetic lines the carrier of light—sometimes soft as fluff, sometimes sharp as a blade, sometimes calm as the night, sometimes blazing as a torch. I do not pursue the completeness of narration, but only wish to capture the moments of consciousness, those fleeting shards of light between dreams and wakefulness, life and death, reality and illusion.
The light in this world includes the soft glow of nature, the cold light of technology, the warm light of love, and the dim light of nothingness. We create light, yet often get lost in it; we seek light, yet always have to embrace darkness. But it is precisely the interweaving of light and dark that constitutes the entire meaning of existence. As written in the poems, darkness is never the opposite of light, but what light becomes after its work is done; human ashes are never the end of light, but light existing in another form. We are all children of light, born of light, walking in light, and ultimately will become a part of it, leaving an eternal echo in the universe.
This poetry collection is dedicated to all those who are willing to look up at the light even in the dark. May you see your own shadow, hear your own heartbeat, and touch the wisp of light connecting you to the world in these lines. May we all hold poetry as a torch, illuminate the essence of existence, and forever keep our perception of the world, love for life, and inquiry into existence in the form of light.
