尊敬的來賓、各位代表：

二十多年來，中國發(fā)展高層論壇始終是一個舉足輕重的促進(jìn)對話交流、推動經(jīng)濟發(fā)展、深化中國與世界聯(lián)系的平臺。我非常感謝國務(wù)院發(fā)展研究中心和中國發(fā)展研究基金會長期致力于推動中國同全球工商界的交流合作。同時，也期待在未來兩天內(nèi)同各位圍繞共同關(guān)心的重要議題深入交流、凝聚共識。

我已代表蘋果公司訪問中國將近30年。在這段歲月中，我親眼見證了這里所取得的卓然非凡的發(fā)展成就。如今，中國已經(jīng)坐擁一批全球最具活力的城市，而每一次來訪，我都能深切感受到在這片土地上正在蓬勃涌現(xiàn)著的創(chuàng)新精神與創(chuàng)造活力。

本屆論壇將聚焦高質(zhì)量發(fā)展這一核心議題，這既是中國“十五五”規(guī)劃的核心發(fā)展目標(biāo)，也引發(fā)了工商界的廣泛共鳴。正如我們過去的實踐所深刻昭示的：創(chuàng)新、可持續(xù)發(fā)展、以及卓有成效地投資于人，正是實現(xiàn)持久穩(wěn)健增長的根本基礎(chǔ)。

如今在中國，這種精神隨處可見，生生不息。我看到，我們的供應(yīng)鏈伙伴們正在積極推動制造業(yè)轉(zhuǎn)型升級，邁向更智能、更綠色的發(fā)展模式；我也看到，軟件開發(fā)者們正在打造各類應(yīng)用，重塑人們學(xué)習(xí)與創(chuàng)造的方式；我還看到，那些正在中國各地高校中鉆研環(huán)境科學(xué)與創(chuàng)新發(fā)展的莘莘學(xué)子，正立志攻克世界上最復(fù)雜的前沿挑戰(zhàn)。

這些事例皆是中國非凡發(fā)展歷程的生動縮影，亦是本論壇矢志弘揚的發(fā)展成就的有力印證。中國發(fā)展高層論壇為中外工商界領(lǐng)袖搭建了彌足珍貴的交流平臺，就當(dāng)今時代最緊迫的議題開展坦誠務(wù)實、富有深度的研討。在當(dāng)今風(fēng)云變幻的世界中，我相信此類交流互鑒的重要性愈發(fā)凸顯。

在蘋果，我們對中國各地取得的卓越發(fā)展成就滿懷信心，并始終致力于通過攜手合作，充分釋放其發(fā)展?jié)撃堋Ｎ覀冃枰掷m(xù)深化交流互鑒，深刻認(rèn)識到即使在變局交織的時代，每個人依然擁有共享繁榮、共同發(fā)展的廣闊機遇。同時，我們也更需要不斷探索，如何做到讓增長既更加富有內(nèi)涵，又更具創(chuàng)新性和可持續(xù)性，并真正為人類和我們的社區(qū)創(chuàng)造更為深遠(yuǎn)的影響。

中國有句古話始終提醒我們，眾人拾柴火焰高。這正是我所期待本屆論壇能夠注入的精神力量。感謝各位共同參與到這場至關(guān)重要的對話之中。

Distinguished guests and fellow delegates,

For more than a quarter-century, the China Development Forum has been an essential gathering that has helped foster important dialogue, promote economic development, and strengthen ties between China and the world. I am deeply grateful to the Development Research Centre of the State Council and the China Development Research Foundation for engaging with the global business community, and I look forward to a productive exchange of ideas over the next two days.

I have been visiting China with Apple for nearly 30 years now. During that time, the progress I have witnessed is nothing short of extraordinary. Today, China is home to some of the world's most dynamic cities, and on every visit I am struck by the creativity and ingenuity flourishing across the country.

This year's forum will focus on high quality development. In addition to being a central goal of China's 15th Five-Year Plan, this is a theme that resonates with many of us in the business community because it reflects something we've learned through experience: innovation, sustainability, and meaningful investment in people are foundational to durable growth.

In China today, that spirit is alive everywhere I look. I see it in our supply chain partners transforming manufacturing to make it smarter and greener. I see it in developers building apps that change how people learn and create. I see it in young people studying environmental science and innovation at universities across China, determined to tackle some of the world's most complex challenges.

These stories are all part of China's remarkable journey. They are also powerful examples of the progress this forum exists to champion. The China Development Forum offers leaders from China and the international business community an invaluable platform for open, substantive discussion about the most pressing issues of our time. In today's rapidly changing world, I believe this kind of engagement has never been more essential.

At Apple, we are optimistic about the incredible advances happening across the country, and we're committed to realizing their full potential by working together. We need to continue engaging, recognizing that, even in uncertain times, there are opportunities for everyone to prosper. And we have to keep asking how growth can be not just meaningful, but more innovative, more sustainable, and more impactful for the people and communities we serve.

As the Chinese proverb reminds us, when everyone participates in gathering the firewood, the flames rise higher. That is the spirit I hope will animate this year's China Development Forum. Thank you for being part of this important conversation.
