當地時間4月9日，總臺記者獲悉，有消息人士稱，以色列與黎巴嫩首場直接談判將于下周在美首都華盛頓的美國國務院舉行。
當天稍早，以色列總理內塔尼亞胡表示，已下令盡快與黎巴嫩展開直接談判，談判將聚焦解除真主黨武裝及建立兩國和平關系。
