伊朗外長阿拉格齊當地時間8日凌晨稱，作為對巴基斯坦方面請求的回應，他代表伊朗最高國家安全委員會宣布，如果美以停止對伊朗的襲擊，伊朗武裝部隊將停止反擊。在與伊朗武裝部隊協調的前提下，未來兩周，船只將能在技術限制允許的前提下安全通過霍爾木茲海峽。
